About us
Beacon Children’s Centre (BCC) is an integrated early child development centre established in November 2020. Our core mandate is to provide holistic care for children with developmental difficulties and disabilities, and those with behavioural difficulties. Our services aim at fostering optimal growth and development of all children to ensure the best outcomes. Our dedicated team strives to provide family-centred, and child-friendly services to our clients.
Our location
- The facility is located at Feruzi Towers, 3rd floor, Wing B, on Kiambu Road, opposite the Quickmart. Being out of the central business district of Nairobi City, in the serine suburb of Thindigua area, there is safe and ample parking for clients and disability friendly environment. We strive to uphold high safety protocols for our clients. In addition, we endeavour to provide a child-friendly experience for all children visiting our facility.

Mission
- Our mission is to become the leading integrated early childhood development centre in the region, that provides holistic care to all children at risk and with developmental difficulties and disabilities and their families.
Goal
- Our goal is to ensure that every child develops to their full potential by preventing development delays, undertaking developmental surveillance, screening, and early assessments of children with developmental differences to identify those with developmental and behavioural difficulties and disabilities and to provide early intervention services and family support.

Our staff
We have a multidisciplinary team of highly qualified professionals. Our staff cut across diverse disciplines including health, nutrition, social services, mental health, and special education professionals. Our child-friendly staff include a developmental paediatrician, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, a behaviour therapist, a psychologist, a nutritionist, dedicated nurses and a special needs educator. We also link to other specialists whenever needed. Together we play a crucial role in supporting the healthy development and well-being of all children, including those with complex developmental needs
